Questions about the new cards

So I have some questions:

If I give an Ijimyos Mask one Risen and i am playing the Death and Decay Theme does every other Risen (when non Soulles models die one Risen appears) get the Mask also?

Gok and Kusatta Kairai both have the Ki Feat Cloud of Flies but different Effects written on this Ki Feat (Gok: Models gain stunned; Kusatta: Disturbing Flow)

Some models are missing (like Ikiryo and Trak). Are they gone in the new edition or are they still being reworked?

What is the Plan for having Fear 6 Models with Bravery? They automaticaly pass fear test against the same number or lower. Do we get models with fear 7 (a little bit to hard for 1 Ki models)?

No, you'd have to purchase it for each model or it would only affect the model you paid for it for.

Apparently Gok's wording is correct and they should match.

Jason will have to pick that up but I suspect they are just missed from the release update, due to the large number of cards having to be updated, or they are still being refined.
Fear 6 still has to test against dread, so bravery may be useful there.

Those 2 models are not gone.  Neither is Mizuchi.

@GCTMasterEnos I have a questions regarding prone:
If a Model with rise is already prone and in a melee exchange.
If that Model (a Kairai for example) is killed but makes the rise test, can it attack back? In the rules it is only covered if the Model BECOMES prone during The exchange that it cannot attack back

Step 12 of the Risen Sun melee rules:

"The Attacker makes a Damage Roll against the Defender and resolve any effects triggered by damage in melee. If this results in either the Defender model being removed from the table, no longer being in BtB with the Attacker or becoming Prone skip to Step 14."

Step 14 is after the defender getting to attack back and a rise test results in a prone model.

Step 14 "The Melee Exchange is now resolved and both models remove one activation counter."

In new dawn rules, the rise test happens after the action so I would always have played it that a model dying in a combat means it does not get to attack back (unless that model is Suchiro in RS with a successful rise test because he never goes prone... but that's pretty iffy and should probably be ruled on).

The rise test states they become prone, being prone does not give you immunity (prone). I appreciate that it doesn't have a further effect but the rule still triggers and ends the combat.

Prone models can attack.
Only becoming prone prevents the attack.

Yeah I get that, but in the rules there is never a clarification about an already prone Model to get prone a second time and thus cant make a melee attack.
IT May be clearer if "become prone" would be change to "gets The prone Status"

I'm not sure that getting the prone status would be any different other than it would then stop step 12 from skipping step 13 if it was part of the rise text.

I can understand your point in that being prone thematically excludes becoming Prone again but no other state excludes becoming that state again, and the stand up action says to remove the prone marker suggesting that becoming Prone gives a prone marker.

I think it would be clearer for the intention if rise said the model gains a prone marker and the melee rules match that wording for skipping step 13. Stand up can then state to remove all prone makers.

Otherwise Prone should state as part of the text that a model with a prone marker cannot become prone again until it has removed the marker, assuming the intent is to allow kairai to still get their return attack through if previously prone and killed again.

Hi all,

looking at the way the old generic upgrade / event cards are divided up amongst the upgrade packs I was wondering whether these will now be faction specific, e.g. I see that healing balm is in the temple upgrade but not Ito. If they remain available to all factions is there likely to be a generic upgrades pack?

The old "Generic" upgrade pack is now the Ronin Special Card Deck.

Some cards were found, during the old edition or testing for Risen Sun, to be unsuitable for every faction.  Some were restricted (Like Vial of Raijin's Breath) others were removed entirely.  Some, such as Healing Balm and Elixir of Vigour, were moved to Faction Decks and are only available to those Factions.

Hi all, I have a question. What size is the base of the Wanyudo?
The store indicated 40mm, and the dimensions of the model are suitable for this.
30mm is in the blister, and nothing else is specified in the PDF.

Mine came with a 40mm base. Probably a mispack
