Forum Colours/packaging

Hi new here and first post is a moan :)

I don't suppose you can change the text colour so I can read it, I'm having to highlight the browny colour so it can be read easily.

I've only just come across the game and not bought anything yet, so.

With all the components and dice and stuff, can all th items be safely transported in the boxes or will we need foam trays or something for the mini's.

Also, what is the release schedule for new mini's, every month?

Ta

Dave

Hey Dave,

Your moans will help us improve...

1. Website looks for the foreseeable future terrible in IE, may GCT Studios suggest Google Chrome or FireFox... possibly not but they have more advantages than just being able to view our website properly.

2. Buy, you'll love our game, fast brutal and awesome.

3.The boxes transport the minis disassembled remarkably well in our opinion. Not tried assembled, anyone else answer this? I would guess not and would suggest a foam tray such as battlefoam or KR provide relatively cheaply would be your best bet... we are very proud of our mini's and hope you will be more than happy enough to want to give them the protection they deserve ;)

4. Release schedule, we currently plan and are fully placed to release a mini from each faction every two months... so 2 a month or 4 every two months depending on which way you do the maths.

First wave of releases is due in August, Bikou for the Prefecture, Nizume for the Cult, Kitsune for the Temple and Bobata for the Savage Wave.

Welcome to Bushido and the Forum Dave, I hope my answers help you along the path.

Cheers,

Odin

Ultra Pro used to make a great zippered case for Mage Knight. The top of the case has slots for cards, although the foam inserts are probably a little large for Bushido. I threw mine out and made my own foam inserts. The case would fit half trays from KR with space left over for dice, tapes, etc. If you are going to pick up from KR just be aware of the tray depth, larger models like Zuba (Savage Wave) and Ekusa (Ro-kan) have larger bases (50mm & 40mm IIRC).

Edit: You might be able to pick up the old case on ebay, the current offering from Ultra Pro case has HUGE size compartments for cards

Cheers for quick rwplies a bonus of dealing with a UK company and that actually respond in the forums :) 10/10

I've got a ton of KR cases but as I'll only have a few models one of these is a bit of an over kill, could get one of their little cases but these are expensive.  What would be nice if the models were packaged like the GW stuff used to a million years ago.  A small sturdy box with a foam insert.  Could even have half the box with no foam to store cards, dice and tokens etc.

Could go that route, or use the extra space for other small skirmish games so it becomes the "skirmish" bag. Don't forget there are other models coming out, so reserve spaces! :D

The malifeaux bag is the best in my opinion for all skirmish

This act of aggression must be met with swift and cruel ferocity, it is time to cry "havoc" and let slip the dogs of war

Malifaux bag...?  Tell me more.

Slipping on messes you made when I hit you makes me more excitable.

Couple of guys at my LGS have one and it's really nice.  Heavy duty stitching and all that.  Seems like it'll last a long time.  It has enough room for a few crews plus all paraphenelia, including books.

It's great unless you're a psycho like me - I think I'm up to ten crews :) I got's me a really big case!

One of our local players just got back from origins, carrying this: http://us.battlefoam.com/products/%28Mini%29-P.A.C.K-Mini.html   Might be worth a look. :)

Its okay if not a little pricey I prefer either the KR or Feldherr cases myself.  Feldherr do a very nice set of small cases for skirmish games.

I'll second fieldherr I use that stuff for my infinity, well made and the foam is pretty good as well, I think the battlefoam bags look great but very pricey!

Also with the battlefoam trays you carn't use them in GW, KR or figures in comport type cases as the are a differant size

I'm going to get my hands on the new KR Backpack soon for Review purposes.  For those who don't know I write for The Ancible (www.the-ancible.com) it's a free Independant Sci-Fi?Fantasy magazine and I'll be reviewing Bushido in Issue 11 no less.

This is a too old thread but gave me a lot of information. I think there should be a special box packaging instead of a separate foam tray.
