When to re-roll what?

I got an interesting question from my friends yesterday.

Model A and B were in btb with each other and exchanging blows.

Model A was active and rolled 3 melee dice in attack.

Model B rolled 3 melee dice in attack.

Model A has prowess (melee) and feint (1).

Model B has prowess (melee) and dodge (1).

Who re-rolls what first and how do you proceed with all other re-rolls?

CONDUCTING RE-ROLLS
If dice must be re-rolled, then re-rolls
should be conducted in the following
order with Model A being the model with
the initiative or the Activating model,
and Model B being the Opponent:
1. Model B picks any of Model A’s dice;
these dice are then re-rolled. Model
B then picks any of their own dice;
these dice are then re-rolled.
2. Model A picks any of Model B’s dice;
these dice are then re-rolled. Model
A then picks any of their own dice;
these dice are then re-rolled.

Does this mean that a re-roll may be re-rolled?

Ex: Model B uses 'feint' to force a re-roll on A's defense, then model A uses melee prowess to re-roll the new result?

Technically, since your opponent is re-rolling the dice, it's not a re-roll of a re-roll as no one rolled the dice twice.

But the answer is yes, Model A can use Prowess to re-reroll any of those dice

There is no limit on re-rolls in this game.  Its better written than that.
