Pass Tokens & Fai-ginn Pick Pocket
Hi ! I'm pretty new in Bushido, so sorry if the answers to thoses questions seems obvious to you : Do models left elsewhere (or killed) count as part of the Warband when calculating the number of pass tokens or must they be on the table to count ? Does Fai-ginn (or any friendly model) ignore the Requirement/Exclusion of the enhancement-equipment card stolen with his Pick Pocket Ki Feat ?

Not a RET so take with a grain of salt.

When a model is elsewhere it counts as in play, thus unless specified otherwise behaves as in play: it will count towards pass token generation.

For Fai-Ginn I am unsure.
I have not played him much although he has become usefull in the new iteration even if he can't steal cards, I find that in a lot of games there are no equipment cards at all, when used they often carry restrictions, less then 20 equipment cards without crippling restrictions out of close to 200 special cards (not counting model cards) means most games will not feature any of them.

Thanks for the answer ! :) If i understand correctly : playing a warband based on models with flank can provide a huge advantage to ur opponent. Especially when u have, let's say, 7 models vs 9 with 3 flank. So 18 activations vs 14 become 12 vs 16 ? I agree with u : my group don't use a lot of equipments cards too. But when the "Minimoto Clan Armor" card comes to be played, and stolen, and placed upon Yokozuna Akashi... we really (man, i mean REALLY ;) need to be sure if that's allowed.

Flank: Models that are Elsewhere count as being part of the warband, i.e. they are counted as models in play, even if they are not currently on the board, when pass tokens are generated.

Fai-Ginn: Yes you can in theory transfer Minimoto clan armour to Yokozuna but since he's not a samurai with the armour trait, he won't be able to use it.
Per the wording Fai-Ginn's abilities don't allow you to bypass restrictions
