Haru and Earthen Rampart Stance - Changing Facing ends it?

Move
The Rules » Movement and Placing » Move

The model moves the given distance, along any path, subject to the restrictions for the action or ability that permits a move and may change its Facing at the end of the movement.
Changing Facing is considered a movement, even if the model remains in the same place.
During this movement the models base may not pass through another model’s base or Impassable Terrain.
If an effect allows a player to move an opponent’s model, it's facing may not be changed unless the effect specifically states otherwise.

"This model gains...til the End Phase or this model Moves."

I'm assuming if someone engages Haru in Melee and he has to change facing because of that, his Earthen Rampart Stance would end?

I hope this is not the case but it seems like it is.

No, the changing facing clause is under "Move" so only applies when making a Move.

The rotation for melee does not count as movement.

Follow-up question then, so Haru only loses the Stance if he chooses to Move, or would Side-stepping and being Pushed, etc cause the stance to go away then?

Not an expert on the rules but from my reading of them anything that moves a model other than Placement effects (like for example the effects from a Wind Kami) are considered a Move and as such would break the Stance.
