SmogCon 2014 for those of you unaware GCT will be at SmogCon, 21st – 23rd February 2014 throughout the event which lasts from Friday morning to Sunday evening. There will be a whole host of things going on:
· We will be running the first of our annual Bushido Grand Master tournament. The Tournament will be a 50 rice event open to 24 players, lasting 4 rounds using the GCT Masters Tournament pack (Due for release soon). Players will all receive Silvermoon rewards for playing and we have some truly amazing prizes on offer including the opportunity for the Grand Master to work with the GCT team to concept a model of their choice.
· There is a SmogCon painting competition and a separate category for Bushido models with awesome GCT sponsored prizes including categories for:
o Best single medium based model
o Best single large based model
o Best Warband
o Best Diorama
· We will be running a rewards system for attendees where you can build up reward points (Silvermoons) through doing what you already love, playing Bushido either in our booth area or in the casual play area of SmogCon. You’ll get points for playing players you’ve not played before, playing players from different countries, playing different scenarios the list goes on and on.
· GCT will also be holding a seminar on the Saturday about game design and starting and running a company where we’ll be holding a questions and answers session
· Demos available to new players offered by our excellent Retainers.
· Up-coming releases for future waves.
· “Challenge the Master” games.
· “The Iron Arm” competition.
· Unseen art concepts.
· Casual play areas available.
There are some other things we can’t quite release yet but be assured that we are super excited to be at SmogCon and the prospect of this 24hr gaming event and the opportunity to engage and talk directly with the players is our biggest draw. Suchiro - Temple of Ro-Kan
Suchiro is the embodiment of determination and persistence. With a goal or objective in his mind nothing can stop this quiet and thoughtful monk from reaching it. In battle he fights resolutely, anchoring the forces of the Temple and proving to be an unbreakable bastion for the defenders of Jwar. Many strive to understand the riddles of the Kami of Chikyu’s Rock but this monk of the Temple of Ro-Kan has and in doing so brought the teaching to bear on those that would seek to upset the balance.
