transport your miniatures

To all,

I currently am fitting my amazing Bushido miniatures in my Battlefoam Infinity bags. They don't fit well in there at all as the slots of miniatures don't work with the base sizes.

What does everyone else use?

I am in the US and had considered the Cipher Studios bag by Battlefoam as those miniatures are similarly based in size.

For me it's not a problem with bags, but the foam they come with.

I use a KR Multicase with their F3T trays (6x6 compartments about a third of the depth of the case). 30mm bases fit in very nicely and with a little room for maneuvre if your minis are a bit awkward.

I believe they have american distribution so you shouldn't have to muck about with international postage.

I use Battlefoam's Cool Mini or Not bag. Works perfectly for me, the cut outs are the ideal size for all the models (in my case the whole Cult range) and you got one deep pluck foam for all those large base models and another pluck foam for standard models if you really want to customize stuff. At the moment it holds all the models for the Cult range, including duplicates, my Prefecture starter for demos and has still lots of room to spare for the next couple of waves and the Shadow Wind clan as well.

could you post a picture of how your minis look in the tray?  Thanks! It looks like there are a couple of different bags with foam. Which ones do you have?

i had wondered about KR.  I just tried using their website and it's horrific. I'm in Taiwan for the next 12 days and am using an iPad and an Android device.  Neither like their site.  It seems Miniature Market carries a very limited selection so I will have to look elsewhere.

Amazon.com in the u.s. has some of those.  I kinda like the soft foam of KR.

Does anyone have pictures of their Bushido minis in KR foam? I want to make sure I get the right foam for the job that gives my minis enough room so nothing is protruding from the foam and their bases actually can fit in the foam.

With KR what actual cases are good or do you just stick with cardboard boxes?

I just use the plain cardboard box ones.  I'll take some picture tomorrow or on Sunday when there's better light so you can see how the foam works out.

Look forward to seeing them. My local game store's distributor can get KR products it turns out. After I see yours I may have still more questions on figuring it all out. Lol.

The KR website is awful but well worth the effort of trudging through it. I use the cardboard cases and their F4H (18 52x32mm compartments), N4H (20 50x25mm compartments) or pick & pluck trays. I have a double backpack to carry them around in. Of course, with bushido, you can get away with a single half-size case.

Most of our group have KR cases and we have no problems with them, and with a faction being small it easily fits into whatever back pack it is you own

That's the standard KR box layout for any of the Bushido sets of trays.  The one with the circular cut outs is double depth.

This is the case I use:

It has space for 3 layers and also all my cards

You get 2 layers for regular 30mm base minis and you can get 40mm base versions.

And a double depth pick&pluck for bigger models:

And plenty of space at the side for your dice, Ki markers, tokens and the like.
I also have all the scenario sheets and errata printed out under the bottom foam.

This is perfet for any one full faction, this is the same size (And the same foam is available) in the £18 carboard box for a super-cheap option.

I haven't yet found a Bushido model that won't fit in the bottom foam.
