Ki boost profile errata vs ki feat section

Can someone please explain what is the difference between the errata ki boost "The increase to the Statistic lasts for the current Test or movement" and the ki boost to statistics "The increase to the Statistic lasts until the current activation is resolved" ? I am confused as to which one applies and when ?

There's only one reference to Ki Boosts in the errata that I can find that isn't a correction to a model's card.

it's in the 1st page of the august errata:

Profile Cards

Statistics: The number is the model’s base statistic value. Some effects modify a statistic but it can never go above double its base value.  Some models also have a number of Ki icons to the side of the Statistic value. This is the Statistic’s Ki Boost cost. This is the cost in Ki Tokens. The increase to the Statistic lasts for the current Test or Movement.  A player may increase a Statistic multiple times, as long as there are Ki Tokens available to do so (See Ki Feats).

Well i am not sure I understand, is it current activation or current test / movement ? When does each one apllies ? Isn't an activation longuer than a test for instance in the case of range attack ?

I don't understand and cannot find where the second source of information you are using is coming from.  The errrata only has one mention of Ki Boosts that I can find, and you have quoted it.  The errata supersedes the rulebook.  If you can point me at the contradictory section, I'd have a better idea of the source material and how to resolve it.

as it is, boosts should only apply for the current roll.  You don't get multiple RaS 4+ shots from a single boost and Rapid Fire.

The second reference is at the end of the "ki feats" section (page 90 of the rulebook / page 20 of the online rulebook)

KI BOOSTS TO STATISTICS

Some models are able to increase a Statistic through the spending of Ki Tokens (See Profile Cards). These increases are Ki Feats that are Instant and Personal. The increase to the Statistic lasts until the current activation is resolved. Each Ki Boost is considered a separate Ki Feat.

Ok, that answers your question then.  The errata *always* supercedes the rulebook.
