Zones and Impassable Terrain

In the Rules:

"...Players should randomly decide which player sets up the terrain: No Impassable Terrain element may be placed within a Zone or within 2” of a Scenario Objective, or another Terrain element with the Impassable trait."

So, as I understood: Blocking Terrain isn't allowed with 2" of a Scenario Objective, and you aren't allowed to make walls out of Impassable Terrain, by putting them edge on edge. That is why you have to place them at least 2" away from each other. Impassable Terrain is also not allowed within a Zone, but it is allowed at the edge of a Zone, right?

Can anybody confirm or deny that?

I found a post (https://gctstudios.com/forum/zappod-0-2) by Damon Carlton, he wrote:

"...Terrain will most likely have to be moved around between scenarios to make sure there's no blocking terrain with 2" of a zone or idol"

Is he right?

I'm planning to build a tournament board, where there are farmhouses right on the edge of the Zones. The idea is to make the RYODO as tactical as possible, and to make it harder for players to get from one Zone to the other. So that it isn't just a big fight in the middle of the board. The houses will be fixed on the board. And they are mirrored, so it's the same for both players. Hope I'm allowed to build it that way, or am I missing something?

Thanks for the answer. Can't be more clear than that!
