move shenaningans

Hi

A friend of mine ran a simulation on a geometry software:

it would appear that the 'move' or 'place' 1" shenanigans allows to put a model right in the dead angle of its opponent.

I was just wondering if this 'optimised to the milimeter' placement was intended or did my friend exploited some kind of bug?

Just wondering, in case that in the future, some factions with, let's say, the ability to move 1" on many models in one feat could actually put you in the position of surprising most part of the opposing warband a glitch or an intended game design?

Intended.  That's why tengu ate the nerf bat for their placement effects.  Also, we've been doing it for ages (see Mirage, air kami ranged attacks, a large number of unique effects, some themes).

Ok! I knew that with 2" movement, this was obvious, but with 1", it wasn't obvious with human eyes this could be done.

We'll have to be careful with any future model that could mass move your warband and stuff like this...

Thanks for the answer!

Yeah, I have a row of these hand drawn (Why did nobody tell me we invented computers?) on my wall for place effects.  For this particular shenanigen, you can get behind with a 'within 1" place' but not with a 'completly within 2" place' but its hard to tell either by eye.
