Jung Pirates

When years passed without word of the Jung, they were considered lost, their return under the mon of the giant squid surprised everyone. They have reaped what they need from the traders on the seas of the Jwar Isles, forcing the Shiho, the leaders of the Prefecture at that time, to label them pirates. Their fleets are faster and their knowledge of the Isles’ waters unparalleled by all but perhaps the Carp clan, allowing them to evade the larger, less experienced junks of the Prefecture. Long years away from the courts of the Jwar Isles have left the Jung rough around the edges but they have not forgotten their ancestry.

Playstyle

Jung are the pirate faction of the Jwar isles, as such they are a jack of all trades with more variety in models than any other faction. From samurai Kancho (captains) and juhin (first mates) and their rag tag bunch of miscreants wielding swords, hooks, and harpoons to all manner of sea creatures including shark people, crab people, and giant crabs and eels. These are all backed up by sea witches and even a mighty sea-spirit dragon.

Generally speaking, Jung play with lots of movement tricks and shenanigans to leverage the fight to their advantage as they really don’t want a fair fight. They are pirates after all!!

Jung are very mobile capable fighters but lack the discipline of other factions samurai or monks and rather rely on sneaky tactics to bring numbers to a fight.

Jung warbands and themes are greatly complemented by the wide variety of models and there is a play style to suit most players, and for those willing to go deeper the faction rewards players that see interactions across the range that compliment each parts strengths and weaknesses.
