Temple of Ro-Kan
The serene martial artist masters of the Ro-Kan have long viewed themselves as above all mortal and mundane conflicts. Now, following the Han civil war, the rise of the Cult of Yurei, and the incursion of the Savage Wave, the monks of Ro-Kan are being dragged into the clandestine wars of universal balance – a war in which they will reluctantly turn out to be key players. The monks follow an age-old path and know the secrets of Ki better than any others, but they are few and divided – will they be able to unite and join forces before it is too late?

Playstyle
The Temple of Ro-Kan is a very diverse faction that can be mainly divided into three subfactions.
Monks offer both good fighting and controlling the flow of Ki, allowing them to not only generate a lot of this powerful resource but also to share it between them to have it available where needed. Their fighting is less focused on dealing damage (they have very few abilities that actually increase their damage output) and more on moving either themselves or the enemy. In a game focused on scenario, it is often more advantageous to control the flow of battle instead of simply killing models. But should the need arise, they are still able to deal damage by ganging up on enemies and using Ki to enhance their combat abilities.
Villagers rely on number advantage and traps to make up for their individually low stats. They use a few sturdy models to anchor their lines while the cheap villagers try to overwhelm the opponent and manage to slip a few models through the enemy lines to score in scenarios. Healing abilities also allow them to stay on the field longer than their mediocre stats imply.
Kitsune and Sohei (anthropomorphic animals) offer surgical damage dealing combined with either speed or staying power, making them a good complement to the other subfactions.
